How do I stop receiving text messages from Dinnerbell?

There are two ways to stop receiving text messages from Dinnerbell:

Option 1: Reply STOP

You can text STOP to Dinnerbell's number (408-514-5502) at any time. This will immediately opt you out of all SMS messages from Dinnerbell at the carrier level. You will no longer receive any text messages — including replies to messages you send, proactive notifications, and Daily Rundowns.

To re-subscribe, text START to the same number (408-514-5502). You will begin receiving messages again.

Option 2: In-App Communication Preferences

For more granular control, you can manage individual SMS settings in the app:

1. Open Account Settings (via the More tab in the bottom nav)
2. Navigate to Communication Preferences
3. Toggle off Agent Text Messages to stop receiving replies from Dinnerbell via SMS
4. Toggle off Proactive Mode to stop receiving Daily Rundowns and proactive notifications

Note: If you replied STOP and want to use Dinnerbell via SMS again, you must first text START to 408-514-5502 to re-subscribe at the carrier level. Changing in-app settings alone will not re-enable SMS if you have opted out via STOP.
